Just like what I promised before, I'll open an official website for The Angles®. You can visit this too by its official URL: https://jayashley.tripod.com/angles. By next school year, I'll give this a completely new look.

Okay, time for the real stuff. The Angles® is the official school paper of our school, Atheneum School in Noveleta Cavite. It started a long time ago (don't know when) and it gained prestige and popularity among Cavite's school papers especially whie Diana Laserna was still editor-in-chief. Well, there were really many who have served The Angles® and I became one of them last year. Unfortunately for the paper, I was not that willing and reluctant to produce more issues like what I've told myself and the school president, Atty. Reynaldo Laserna. When I came to Atheneum, I was a freshman and I took the exam to be one of The Angles®' staff. I was designated as a reporter. The same thing happened when I was in second year. When I was in third year, well, it was a big boost for me making it to the highest position as editor-in-chief. I was very fortunate then... haha! I thought. But that year, I only released one school paper. This year, only one too. We thought we could make things EASIER when we started making it in Adobe® Pagemaker® 6.5 but we were wrong. Actually, I think we just over exceeded our expectations. The last issue I released is Volume III No 3 last March 2001.

I must admit that it was quite fun servicing the school paper even though I and my staff were not really that interested in journalism. My days in the Division Schools Press Conference and the Regional Schools Press Conference are truly memorable. Personally, I like English but not Journalism. I really hate writing...grrr! My issues never had the chance in competing in the Press Conferences but I am sure that by next year, SY 2001-2002, I'll really help Sir Raul release The Angles® as early as August so it can once again compete and kick asses.

I find it too difficult to convert every page of the last issue to HTML or the web page format so I converted it to PDF format for regular viewing. You can download each page or all of them in a single download below.
